Lovely bowls found at Tag Sales.
Below are hand painted bowls I found at a tag sale. I had to have them. One rule I have is that I must use whatever I buy, so I decided to use these in a bedroom. I did not want to use the traditional plate hangers and discs sold at the Container Store and on line are somewhat expensive. In my search for ways to hang them, I ran across a blog called inmyownstyle. The blogger talked about using paper clips as plate hangers. I tried it and it worked for me. I so love seeing them on my wall.

1. I took sand paper and scratched the back of bowl a little where I was going to put the glue. 2. I bent paper clip. 3. Using a hot glue gun, I put glue on back of bowl. 4. Put the paper clip in glue and then put more on top of paper clip. Glue gun and sand paper I used on bowls, also use them to put a hook on back of my youngest daughter's ukulele.

Now the bowl can hang on the bedroom wall. |
