A White Christmas
It is the second day after Christmas. I did not have time to write the day after because we had the unbelievable good fortune of celebrating Christmas dinner by candlelight (my youngest loves eating by candlelight) while outside, a strong wind whipped snow unmercifully before allowing it to beautifully settle to create that special white Christmas. This is a rarity for Dallas. So the first day was dedicated to serious play in the fresh air and snow. (Click on images for larger view.)
That evening, the Christmas lights cast a glow from the new snow.
The snow fall reminded me of the villiage.
Christmas Decorations at Our House.
Before having children, my Christmas decorations were more traditional. Now, with young children traditional has given way to just plain old fun, with some restraint, (we did not want to embarrass the neighbors). We do so love
