We celebrated Father's Day in Arlington, TX, at the Levitt Pavilion. This was my first time hearing Black Violin. They played classical music infused with some modern takes. Very talented young men. Tribute to My Girls-It is my good fortune to be blessed with two lovely daughters who inspire me. These photos were taken in a field of blue bonnets and Indian paint brushes near our home on Easter morning (you will notice my youngest holding her Easter basket that I made for her.) Being in the blue bonnets at this time of year, when it seems as if the earth is awakening from its winter hibernation is nothing short of magical. You can feel it in the air. Below is a short video I made to convey beauty of this special time of year. This is one of the last photo shoots before the blue bonnets faded. Pictured: Sam, Hannah and Nick--the triplets. The first photo was my favorite from the shoot. Even though they are young, they like some old school music, particularly, the Beatles. I had this in mind when I did this pose. One plays piano, one plays bass guitar, and other acustic guitar. What a talented group of kids. A great shoot.
