We could not have asked for a better day. On Saturday the weather was lovely, temperature high of 78°. The perfect weather for planting young peach and persimmon trees around the community garden at the Discovery Garden behind the library in Cedar Hill, Texas. The trees were donated by the Red Oak Makerspace. The group is dedicated to fostering community and helping people to do things on their own. Volunteers from Red Oak Makerspace and volunteers from the library and the community garden were on hand to plant the new trees. We had a good time.
